Financial Modeling

View the financial modeling I completed while running an entire valuation of Molson Coors. The scope of my work includes ratio analysis, common-sized Income Statements and Balance Sheets, all while continuing to tell the story of a legacy company in a mature stage of life. This project gave me a complete understanding of modeling, and how to correlate numbers on a financial statement to the future outlook of a company. From this, I gathered that most companies in the alcoholic beverage industry are turning towards low calorie, low carbohydrate alternatives in order to promote health and wellness through their diverse product lines.

Same financial modeling tools as I used in the Molson Coors deliverable, but these told a different story. Rivian, being in the early stages of development and not having a positive Gross Profit Margin until this past fiscal year in 2025, is and will continue to be behind their competition in the EV space. My modeling suggests that Tesla is still the benchmark for electric vehicles, with legacy companies such as GM and Ford remaining forces to be reckoned with.

My introduction to basic Excel skills and functions came during the COVID pandemic in 2020. At home and searching for outlets to keep myself busy, I began making workout programs that I could do in the limited space I had to work with in my garage. Whether or not there was any real scientific backing as to the effectiveness of this program, I began formulated my understanding of this prevalent software. After building my own workout plan, my older sister, Sarah, wanted to tap into my expertise, so I designed a tailored program for her too. This began my Excel journey, which I see continuing long into the future.
